This does not completely hide your files. But by doing this you can hide that folder from things like the Gallery, Whatsapp, email apps. The dot trick is simple to use. All you have to do is put a dot (.) in front of the name of that folder.

Method 2: Creating a ‘.nomedia’ folder

This is safer than the first method. This will hide the file completely. But this folder will appear after turning on the option to display hidden files. This is the best way to hide folders without using any other apps. All you have to do is create a folder called ‘.nomedia’ to store the files you want to hide and store the files you want to hide in it.

Note: Keep the Show Hidden Files option on your phone when you work with that folder.

Method 3: Using another user profile / Using the Second Space feature
