Some of the websites we use are designed to display only the content that is currently available, and in order to display updated content, the site must be reloaded. Clicking on the website reload icon or using the shortcut may seem simple, but it can be annoying to do it regularly. In this guide, we are talking about how to reload websites in your web browser automatically.

This guide explains how to reload websites automatically in the currently widely used browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

Google Chrome

Google Chrome is at the top of the web browser rankings. This process can be done on any Chromium browser such as the new Microsoft Edge browser, Brave browser, etc.

  • Open the Chrome browser go to the Super Auto Refresh Plus extension page by using this link.

  • Click the ‘Add to Chrome‘ button to install the extension on your chrome browser.
  • After installation, you will see the new extension icon in the top right corner.

  • Click on that icon, and then you can set the time required to reload the current web page automatically.

Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is one of a popular web browser in the list. Like Google Chrome Web Store, Firefox has an add-on store.

  • Open the Mozilla Firefox browser and go to the ‘Tab Reloader’ extension page by using this link.

  • Click the ‘Add to Firefox‘ button to install the extension on your Firefox browser.
  • It will open a dialog box asking you to confirm the installation of the extension. Click the ‘Add‘ button.

  • After installation, you will see the new extension icon in the top right corner.
  • Now you can right-click on any tab you opened and go to the Tab Reloader, and you can set a time to reload the opened web page automatically.

Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge is a Chromium browser, and you can install any extension that supports the Google Chrome browser. Or Microsoft edge has its own add-ons store. It is still in development but has many useful add-ons.

  • Open the Microsoft Edge browser and go to the ‘Tab Auto Refresh‘ extension page by using this link.

  • Click the ‘Get‘ button to install the extension on your Edge browser.
  • It will open a dialog box asking you to confirm the installation of the extension. Click the ‘Add extension‘ button.

  • After installation, you will see the new extension icon in the top right corner.

  • Switch the tab you want to reload automatically and click the new extension icon.
  • Set the refresh interval and press the enter key.

Now you can see that the selected website will reload automatically.
