6 ways to open the control panel in Windows 10

The Windows operating system has two classic and modern control panels. The Modern Type comes with Windows 10 and uses the Classic type panel for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1. Windows 10 has a new control panel type, but for some options, the old control panel also comes with Windows 10.  Many people still prefer to use the classic control panel as well. Both of these methods are discussed in this guide. Let’s start.

Modern Control Panel

Method 1: Using shortcut keys

This is the easiest way to open the control panel in Windows 10. Just press the Windows key + X shortcut key using your keyboard.
